Double Twister Ice Cream is the best ice cream shop I've ever been to. We popped in to see what flavors they offered, and I was amazed at the combination of older classics from my youth they made fresh, (specifically Bubble Gum-pink bubble gum flavored ice cream with actual gum balls mixed in), and inventive and intriguing flavors, one of which rocked my ice cream world. The flavor is 'Buttered Popcorn', but the taste is true corn on the cob flavor with buttery notes. I am now hooked on their 'corn' flavor as I call it, and has become a staple for the weekends. The atmosphere is just adorable and pristine. The service was great and the staff were eager to explain the flavors. A+

This place has been in business a long time,and the reason is they only put out top notch ice cream,and friendly staff ,and it doesn't hurt there next to soho pizza restaurant,who does the same amazing things,Danbury is Lucky to have these 2 businesses,will always be my top pick when looking for pizza and an ice cream

It appears to me that they have reduced the cream content in their ice cream. The soft and hard ice cream I've purchased the last few times, melts more quickly than previously, and doesn't have that silky, creamy texture like it used to. The soft ice cream I've gotten recently was served in a semi-melted condition. It's always a mistake to cut your quality instead of raising prices.
By far some of the best ice cream I have ever had especially if you like mint ice cream, it's a must try! I visited yesterday and I am already back today to try more flavors. The ice cream is SO creamy and the flavors are on point. They have a lot of fruit flavors as ice cream (not sorbet or frozen yogurt etc) as well as the staples. Absolutely delicious. 1000% recommend. I would bring anyone who visits here to this location. Only complaint was the second time I visited I felt like I got less ice cream, which is always a let down but maybe it was just an error, the first time I visited there was no issue.
Ice cream selection is massive. It was honestly hard to choose and part of me wanted Italian Ice but i went with 'smores' ice cream and it was delicious. I will be back when i am in area to try some other things
WOW!!!! I was seriously not expecting to like this place nearly as much as I did. Their ice cream is homemade and delicious. They also have a huge variety of flavors as well as fresh cones. The area is a little run down around here, but the place itself is clean and has both indoor and outdoor seating. They also offer some other food and coffee options as well. Additionally they are next-door to a pizza joint Ice Cream Quality: 10/10 Overall: 9/10
